Dear Faithful Citizen,
The Justice & Advocacy Council, in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Washington (ADW), requested participation from all 56 candidates for the Montgomery County Council and obtained Questionnaire responses to 35. Their responses are presented on the following pages.
The questions are drawn from the seven key themes of Catholic Social Teaching. The questions allowed only Yes or No answers. Those left blank are the candidate’s choice.
The Candidates responses are sorted so you can easily find those from candidates who will be on your primary ballot. The At Large Candidates are listed first followed by the Candidates in the seven Council Districts.

The ninty minute Forum was hosted at the Shrine of Saint Jude and moderated by Msgr. John Enzler, President and CEO of Catholic Charities.
