Thanks to the teen volunteers, Maria, Drew, Daniel, Christian, and Cesar who worked watering and weeding our church gardens over the summer. Bless you!
The trees bordering the school classrooms have been removed. Those areas where the trees have been removed are begging for school families to show their talent with planting a nice Fall garden.
The 11' St. Jude statue has received three treatments of D/2 Solution this past month. Over the next several months, the statue will slowly brighten as the mold stain, mildew, and lichens evaporate. The same treatment was given to the Joseph, Mary and Francis statues in early Spring with very good results.
New crape myrtle trees were planted on the side and in the front yard of the Rectory. They are now in full bloom.
The two crape myrtle trees that replaced the magnolia trees, one at the Madigan Hall and the near the main church entrance, are in full beautiful red bloom.
Six new knockout rose bushes were planted this past year, five next to the church and one next to the St. Francis statue. They'll add some nice color as you enter the church and chapel.
Check out Father Lee's herb garden next to the St. Clare chapel entrance.
