Advent Giving Tree
You are invited to take a suggested gift card off one of the Giving Trees in the Church, obtain the gift listed, and return it to the Breezeway the weekend of, Dec. 16/17. There will also be cards for monetary donations. Checks may be made out to St. Jude.

This year we will offer gifts to:
Gabriel Project, administered by Middle Montgomery Gabriel Project. These cards will name items to help pregnant mothers of limited means take care of their expected children as well as older children that may already be part of the family.   
Jeanne Jugan Home for elderly persons of limited means administered by the Little Sisters of the Poor in NE Washington. These cards will ask for toiletries and will be delivered by St. Jude volunteers to that home.

In the past we have always had a soup kitchen to which to donate, If your desire is in that direction don’t forget we have our own St. Stephen’s Food Pantry. If you have any questions or suggestions please call Jane Soberano at 301-949-2336.

Lo invitamos a tomar una tarjeta de regalo sugerida de uno de los Árboles de Donaciones de la Iglesia, obtener el regalo indicado y devolverlo al Pasillo Breezeway el fin de semana, 16 y 17 de diciembre. También habrá tarjetas para donaciones monetarias. Los cheques pueden extenderse a nombre de St. Jude.

Este año ofreceremos regalos a:
Proyecto Gabriel, administrado por el Proyecto Gabriel de Middle Montgomery. Estas tarjetas nombrarán elementos para ayudar a las madres embarazadas de recursos limitados a cuidar de sus hijos esperados, así como de los niños mayores que tal vez ya formen parte de la familia.
 
Hogar Jeanne Jugan para personas mayores de escasos recursos administrado por las Hermanitas de los Pobres en el noreste de Washington. Estas tarjetas solicitarán artículos de tocador y serán entregadas por voluntarios de St. Jude en ese hogar.

En el pasado siempre hemos tenido un comedor de beneficencia al que donar. Si su deseo va en esa dirección, no olvide que tenemos nuestra propia despensa de alimentos de St. Stephen. Si tiene alguna pregunta o sugerencia, llame a Jane Soberano al 301-949-2336.
