You may have noticed how many funerals we have had lately and the various signs that told whose funerals they were, where parking is, etc. If you went to a funeral you would have also seen several of our parishioners doing the ministries of greeting, reading, serving, directing the participation of the families etc. Given the number of funerals that will probably continue to take place, there is a great need of more of these ministers known as Arimatheans, named after Joseph of Arimathea in the Gospels.
If you have at least one morning free per week, why not join those who try to do their small part in comforting a grieving family as Joseph must have comforted Mary with his care of the body of Jesus. Please call Patrice Roe in the parish office for more information or to volunteer.
