This coming Saturday, September 30 we will convene in Madigan Hall at 6:45 AM for coffee/bagels, prayer, fellowship, and "The Men We Need to Build the Kingdom" (Kevin Wells - Author and President of the Monsignor Thomas Wells Society for Vocations). Among the topics Wells covers in his presentation are his Eight Characteristics of Holy Men.
Discussion questions for Saturday include:
- What are examples or ways you can embrace and incorporate “small martyrdoms” into your daily life? How will embracing “small martyrdoms” help you as you move forward in time?
- As you listened to Eight Characteristics of Holy Priests and Men, did any jump out to nudge you toward greater participation? Of the proposed Eight Characteristics of Holy Priests and Men, which to you consider the most vital for this time? Can they even be ranked in priority?
Pease feel free to pass along this invite to anyone you think may be interested.
The Men of St. Jude’s Ministry Group (formerly That Man is You) brings together like-minded men, who are seeking to live out their Catholic faith fully and, as witnesses of Jesus Christ, be better men, husbands, fathers, and grandfathers.
About Us
The Men of St. Jude’s Ministry Group meets on Saturday mornings at 6:45 AM in Madigan Hall. Sessions will include breakfast, prayer, a discussion/scriptural topics, and group discussion. As always, there is no cost for joining and guests are always welcome.
The camaraderie this program has fostered among the men of St. Jude’s over the years has strengthened their faith, provided practical support as they live out their vocations, and provided opportunities for men to serve the parish community.
A meeting reminder a few days prior to the next meeting via email. Anyone who would like to be included on that mailing list should send an email to [email protected] to have their email addresses added to the list.
Please feel free to contact Jim Kuzma (301-704-3989), Edwin Lopez (240-480-5727), or Frank Benedetti (301-655-1971) with any questions regarding the program.
